Independent Inspection and Report
Sometimes the job is already built. It leaks, sounds hollow, cracked, or the owner and the contractor do not agree what went wrong.
That is a different service than a remodel.
Valley Tile will inspect another contractor’s tile, stone, or shower assembly, document the conditions, and deliver a written report. The report is for the record — homeowners, attorneys, insurance, and general contractors. It is not a sales pitch for us to tear it out and rebuild it.
We do not bid the repair on a job we inspected.
Who this is for
Homeowners with a failing shower, hollow floors, or a dispute after the installer left
Attorneys and insurance adjusters who need a field person who has actually built the work
General contractors who want a third-party look before they open a wall
What we inspect
Shower pans, slopes, curbs, niches, benches, and waterproofing
Steam showers and no-curb / accessible wet rooms
Tile and stone floors and walls
Substrate, mortar beds, bonding, and movement joints
Workmanship measured against TCNA, ANSI, manufacturer instructions, and ordinary trade practice
We stay in tile, stone, waterproofing, and the plumbing that ties into those assemblies. We do not pretend to be a structural engineer or a lab.
What you get
Short intake — photos, address, what failed, who is involved
On-site inspection — photos, measurements, notes
Written report — observations, likely cause, standards cited, recommended next steps
If an attorney later needs consulting or testimony, that is a separate written agreement.

Conflicts disclosed in writing before we schedule
Opinions are limited to what was visible or reasonably determined on the date of inspection
